Geant3 corrections

Extensions and Corrections to Geant3.21

Current Status

The ALICE Off-line Project is maintaining a private version of the GEANT3.21 simulation program. Main improvements are in the areas:

• Protections added to some drawing routines
• Support of Geant shape TRD1 in TRD1 with negative parameters
  allowing for automatic calculation of dimensions of the inserted trapezoid inside the mother volume trapezoid
• Improved routines for communicating with Euclid
• Correction of some bugs in dealing with MANY volumes.

These corrections are maintained in collaboration with P.Nevski (ATLAS and STAR).
