AliRoot - Framework for ALICE software development

AliRoot is the ALICE Off-line framework for simulation, reconstruction and analysis.

Except for GEANT3.21 and some remaining legacy code which is packaged as shared libraries, this framework is based on the Object Oriented programming paradigm, and it is written in C++.

It uses the ROOT system as a foundation on which the framework and all applications are built.
