-<B>AliRoot</B> is the ALICE Off-line framework for simulation,
-reconstruction and analysis.

-<P> Except for GEANT3.21 and some remaining legacy code which is packaged
-as shared libraries, this framework is based on the Object Oriented
-programming paradigm, and it is written in C++.
